If you would like to visit the donkey sanctuary, we are open daily from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

How to find us

We are located just outside the village of Brightwell-cum-Sotwell off the A4130 between Wallingford and Didcot.

From Wallingford

Take the A4130 towards Didcot.

Take the 4th exit on the left (Didcot Road) signposted Brightwell-cum-Sotwell.

Turn immediately right.

After the road bends to the right, Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary is near the end of the road on the left.

From Didcot

Take the A4130 towards Wallingford.

After about 2 miles, turn right into Didcot Road, signposted Brightwell-cum-Sotwell.

Turn immediately right.

After the road bends to the right, Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary is near the end of the road on the left.
